How do you add a docklet?

I really want to like Object Dock. I can see the use of it, it looks great, but I must be missing some understanding of it. The readme text is of no use.
I have what I think is a docklet I want to add. Its the Seti@home monitor
Link
How do I get this, or any other docklet to show up on my ObjectDock?
I unzipped all files to a folder in the ObjectDock folder, that didn't work.
So I moved that folder under the "Docklets" folder. That gave me an error of MSVCR71.dll was not found. (I do have the seti program installed BTW)
I went into the OD+ configuration screen and clicked the MyDock's button at the bottom, and I ended up with 5 config screens open. I was going in circles.

I like the look and functionality of OD+ I just can't make it do what I want.

I don't know about the docklet you're asking about, but all the docklets in my Docklets folder appear in the Docklets list in the ObjectDock Properties dialog, and the Add menu when right clicking a dock.....
Do you have nothing in that list?

You can download the MSVCR71.dll here.. http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files.php/dllfiles/M/MSVCR71.dll/download.html

I wrote this back in October http://essencay.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?SID=1825&AID=30829 not saying you're a beginner, just maybe you'll find something useful in it

Well I think I got it narrowed down to the Seti@home docklet. So I've asked for help there. I've tried some other random docklets and they seem to work. BTW you can't d/l that .dll file from the link above.
It would still be nice for some better documentation of the OD+ program though. I could see if it was a free program. But I paid for it, I would expect some better instructions on how to use/configure it.

Thanks for the link Essences. I saw your post after this one
(Oh, I am definately a beginner when it comes to OD+ so no foul there.)
