Sorry about the delay in the next part of my metathread story. The drugs wore off and real life has interrupted. Well actually the better half kicked up a stink.

Rules of Venus I've learnt of the last few days
1. Don't take a swing at the stray cat (even if it stealing your cats food) in sight of the sensitive one.
2. Don't call anyone trying to save the planet a Rainbow warrier
3. No matter how insignificant don't laugh off percieved problems with a "She'll be right" when the bottom lip quivers
4. Never ever say that the Computer/internet/games are the second best thing in you life. A direct return quote, "THERE IS NO OTHER BEST THINGS IN THE WORLD FOR YOU MISTER"
4.Just because she spends money doesn't mean I can.

Well we all know about the ...foibles...of Mrs Pilot and Mrs Pax, but this is an interesting development. Bakka, don't you read Kit's or my stories? They are actually cautionary tales about the minefield of marriage. And for sheep's sake man, anyone could have told you the bottom lip quivering is a sign of impending doom. Wives aren't like mates you know.

A solution is to move your computer into the bedroom. That has done wonders for Pontius and Mrs Pilot. That way, you can have quality time together whilst using the 'puter. Any other advice, just ask me. :D

Oh the harbinger of doom is that quivering of the lip. That sounds like a good name for a ship.

The computer in the bedroom doesn't help when the wife wants movie of the chick flick variety and a backrub....

We're all feelin' for ya mate - Bakka - there are times in a relationship when you just have to keep your head down. This sounds like one of those times:don't sweat - we'll still be here. Good luck - and sneak out carrier pidgeons when you can!

You could try being bisexual for a change of pace. ;) The typical guy doesn't have anywhere near the unpredictability and mood swings of the typical gal; won't bite your head off for getting 6 roses instead of 12; is more likely to share your interests in games, movies, and anything else; and isn't anywhere near so expensive.. LOL

Seems like quite a number of us are getting downgrades in relations from spouses due to galciv addiction.

Pile in the tributes, bakka. But just like the game, it is most effectively when done periodically rather than in one go. :D
