Self Circumcision?

Well, today was a fairly interesting one at my job. (Nurse at a jail..) I was called to the segregation unit because one of the officers claimed that an inmate had "cut his wrist". So, I grabbed some gauze and a wrap and trotted over to the seg unit. Before I could get up to the inmate's cell, the officers were escorting him down the stairs. I noticed that he inmate had blood on his boxer shorts and his hand was stuck down the front...I thought, "Mmm." So, I turned around and walked ahead of the inmate, back into the medical department.

Upon arrival in the ER of the medical department, I asked the inmate to show me his wrist. He said, "Uh...my wrist is okay." I asked him where the blood was coming from and he said...well I think YOU KNOW what he said. I asked him how THAT area had gotten cut, and he said, "I've never been circumcised and I was trying to do it myself." I could do nothing but stare at him for at least 30 seconds..THEN, of course I had to look at the wound...He'd made a straight cut on the underside, and cut clean through a blood vessel.

Again, I do not think that the inmate population in general is a very bright one. Good night, folks.

Wow! That goes beyond not bright right into good old fashioned crazy. Scary thing is, if a guy could do that to himself, just think of the horrible things he would be capable of doing to others! That is one area where most guys get very weak. When my oldest came home as a newborn, blood from his circ had dried the gauze to him. Every man in the room instantly looked pale and ill. Luckily, my Mom was there and loosened it right off with A&D ointment.

Oviously little information is avaiable on self circumcisioon as one can circumcise himself less painfully.Perhaps the the Texas Nurse should consider to give out the CIRCLIST information on self ccircumcision.I feel the TaraClamp shoud be more widely available as I have recircumcised myself in a similar manner and only cut the excess foreskin after it was dark and the inner and outer skins were fused thus, there was no profound bleeding or pain.
In my own experience the onlu true circumcision is the self circumcisionthus, more effort is to be made to disseminate the various procedures of self circumcisiopn.

"Carving wood" LMAO! If he was in Seg, how did he get a sharp enough tool to do the deed?

I was circumcised few years ago but not satisfied I would like to re do it my self to tighten my circumcision and looking to have some advise and procedure, also looking to get a tara clamp but onlu one not a full box of it.
