Can anyone create some Icons for my site? (there will be a reward for your work)

My site is www.getyouhosting.com
I require some icons to be created. I have managed to create all the graphics on my site, except the server image and monitor image (they are stock photos)

I am looking at icons specificaly for the menu system, one for each hosting package, and a set for cPanel, which I will provide a screenshot(s) of cPanel to anyone that is interested.

In return for your work, I can let you have a free hosting account for as long as you want, or I can pay something through PayPal or NoChex. and will put a link somewhere saying the icons are made by [insert name/nickname/website here]

I would like them to fit with the existing color scheme, but any color can be used, not just one hue.
style can be anything, but it has to fit in my site and be obvious what the icons are showing, to keep the navigation easy to use.

GetYouHosting, I really hope for you that you will find someone to do it but if I have to be realistic, I don't think you will succeed. The ammount of money that you offer is the general price... PER ICON! Most designers already have a good hostingpackage so also that isn't really an option. but as I said... good luck.

I'm only just starting out, so my budget is not very big at the moment... once I get some business then I can re-invest and spend more on things.

Here is what I require:
[drop down menu system]
These will be required to have transparency, due to the gradient in the background.
Size 24px x 24px max (height of inner gradient)
- Home
- Packages
- Sign-Up
- Extras
- Forums
- Contact-Us
- Server
- Log-In

[Side Links]
These will also be required to have transparency, due to the gradient in the background.
Size 32px x 32px max
- Gold Hosting Package
- Silver Hosting Package
- Bronze Hosting Package
- Tin Hosting Package
- Extras

[cPanel]
transparency is not required, due to it being a pure white background.
Size 32px x 32px or 48px x 48px
- E-Mail
- FTP
- Stats
- Site Management
- Add-On Scripts
- Domains
- Advanced
- Network Tools
- Databases
- Files
- Pro
screenshot of cPanel available on request.

[Misc/Other]
all will require transparency.
- General Bullet Point (16px x 16px)
- New icon (all common sizes)
- Special Offer icon (all common sizes)
- New Icon/Bullet Point (all common sizes)
- Domains (all common sizes)
- Icon for 'Sign-Out' (16px x 16px and 32px x 32px)
- Forward (all common sizes)
- Back (all common sizes)
- FAQ / Knowledgebase (all common sizes)

[Server Status]
- Icon for service is up and running (16px x 16px and 32px x 32pxl)
- Icon for service is not working/down (16px x 16px and 32px x 32px)

[Web Mail]
Transparency required
Size 32px x 32px and 16px x 16px
- Compose
- Addresses
- Folders
- Options
- Search
- Help
- Folder Drafts
- Folder Sent
- Folder Trash/Deleted

I would like them all to be in .gif format.
Shadows can be used on all pages that have no side links, as they have a pure white background, including cPanel.
The Menu system and the pages with side links have a gradient, so I dont think shadows are possible, but is up to you to decide.

I have managed to do the graphics so far in PaintShopPro 7.
Does anyone has any suggestions, help, pointers etc. for how I can do them myself.
The way I have done the site so far, is using pre-defined shapes (selections), and filling them with a gradient and using things that require no freehand drawing, which I have no skill at.
If someone is willing to do them for me, I can come to some arrangement though.

I just thought i'd revisit this thread, as I have not managed to get any icons done.
From the feedback to this thread, I realised I was not offering enough in return.

How much would I be looking at to pay for somebody to do me a set of icons?

Well from the list above you are requesting a custom IconPack of about 100 icons. So I would say you are looking to spend $300-400 USD

That's $3 to $4 per icon........... geesh you work cheap! If you can get someone to make you a decent set for $400, you'd better jump on it.

You might find someone who will do it cheap, if your lucky.

That will not be my price Koasati, but from reading his post about how tight he is on a budget he might get someone to make a pretty decent pack on/around that price. Going after someone like Mormegil per example, might cost him 3 or 4 times that ammount.

WOM, are you considering getting into the graphic bizznes yet?

Nope Apoc, and the wife says not at that price.

PS. Looks like styl wouldn't either.

I would have done it for free. But I'm not an Icon Designer and my first and only Icon Suite is (completed but) not yet released. I didn't have any Idea how to create icons using 2D progies. So I used 3ds max to do it.

I remember i gave you a reply back then but the icon list you mailed me was quite long and I hadnt even developed a single Icon then, but now i have got some experience but you wouldnt probably like to play with it. If you want i can send you a few samples from my suite and if you like that i can do it for you.
