bootskin wont load

I load my bootskin in the bootskin program.. I am using the matrix WINXP bootskin and I get it all loaded up and reboot and when I do.. that bootskin will come up but then it goes to a black screen and wont go any farther.. can anyone help me with this?? I would greatly appreciate it

It could be an issue with the system BIOS...

what version of BootSkin are you using...

and what BIOS/Version/Revision is on your motherboard?

I have PhenioxBios on my laptop and it refuses tpo play nice with any version of BootSkin...

I am running Award Medallion v6.0 and I have tried all 3 of the versions of Bootskin.. same problem with all of em..... so did you find a way around your problem with you bios or can u just not use the bootskins because of it?? by the way.. thanx for responding so quickly

I also get the problem with my system (Bios Intel Pentium III D815EW - 20011016 )

So I use Bootskin 0.75. It works On My PC. I'll try to find a Download link for you

yes I have tried other bootskins.. that didn't make a difference... but if you have a link to a diff. version of bootskin I haven't tried.. that'd be cool... lemme know if you find it.. thanx

BsER22....just right-click the link and hit properties...copy and paste the link given into your address bar...then the download should appear.

thanx so much UzEE and MiNDTRiPP... this TOTALLY fixed my problem... I am no able to use my bootskins.. I really appreciate it... you might want to consider setting up a chat discussion JUST FOR THAT LINK.. cuz there are people all through this forum that are having this same problem... once again.. thanx a million

If you mean to Install a bootskin document just Doubble Click in WinXP or 2000 and it will automaticaly install.

or press and hold shift key and right click on the bootskin document and open with..... and then navigate to the bootskin instalation directory and bootskin.exe click ok. This should install it.
