Is anyone else running the latest beta? It seems to be really good. They've added a shadow to the taskbar and memory usage is down to about 1200K.

Very impressed.

i'm running the beta.. problems with windows appearing while using the 'fade in' transitions.. spacifically i was using the zoom in/out from middle. dunno if its all of those transition types but i turned it off 'cause it was cutting into my productivity

I should have said that I'm running it on 2k and don't use the animations/transition effects. I'm using it for shadows only. Its all very smooth and Like the shadow under the taskbar (I have it at the top of the screen), though I have to click on the taskbar sometimes to make it show.

I had unusual effects with transitions also, occasionally, but even in the non-beta version. I turn it off occassionally, especially when I am doing something serious and I do not appreciate the extra time or cpu usage for a cool effect. I am running it on XP, and I feel the beta is at least as stable as the regualar version.

i'm learning each day this week, more and more, that dreamweaver mx does NOT like winfx. i've tried different transition settings to see if it was just a little glitch with one style, but i'm having windows not appearing and the program crashing. has to stay off for now
