How to get rid of Windows flag in Windows Explorer?

I recently saw a thread about losing the throbber in Internet Explorer (doesn't bother me, I use Avant), anybody know how to lose the Windows flag (colour on white ground) in the top right corner of Windows Explorer?
Changing the equivalent in IE and Outlook Express is easy but I have yet to find out how to get rid of this branding in WE.
In some screenshots, I've taken to pasting a logo in its place - but I want a permanent solution.
So, any ideas??

Thanks guys, however it didn't work. D/L throboff, ran it but no change (after re-boot), damnit.
I hate the gratuitous branding by M$, long before bootskin i had amended my ntoskrnl.exe file to lose the M$ drivel, and now the last bit is that little flag its really beginning to bug me! >

Throboff worked like a charm for me.......  are you sure you ran the correct reg keys?

Hmm, it worked here (XP). What are you running? Or perhaps check the registry settings manually.

Make sure you are downloading the appropriate .reg file for your OS. I noticed a large difference in the size of the key between the downloaded ver and the one in my PC. It didn't work for me either at first.

My preference was to modify the registry key directly because it's only one byte (bit actually) that needs to be changed.
