Do you need to keep both Deskscapes 11 and Deskscapes 2026 on your system?

For anyone that has both Deskscapes 11 and Deskscapes 2026, have you been successful uninstalling Deskscapes 11 or do you need to keep both versions?

I recently got Deskscapes 2026, but if I try to uninstall Deskscapes 11, my Win 11 system asks me if I want to uninstall Deskscapes 2026 instead, which makes me conclude that both versions are somehow intertwined together if you happen to own both.  

Appreciate any insight into this and if there was a way to remove Deskscapes 11 but keep Deskscapes 2026 (and keep any screen backgrounds that were created in Deskscapes 11).
