ObjectDock reverted to default

Well, that's annoying. For some reason, my carefully crafted tabbed dock sitting on the right of the monitor has disappeared and all I have is the default dock sitting at the bottom. Which I didn't have set up.

Any clues as to how this might have happened and if it's recoverable (no, I don't have a backup of the configuration ðŸ˜¢)?

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. It looks like your configuration files may have been deleted, which causes ObjectDock to revert to its default state.

  • If the files were simply deleted, you can try using a file recovery application to restore them.

  • If the files were corrupted, the only option is to re‑set up ObjectDock from scratch and create a backup afterward.
