Incredibly frustrating to get support

Where is the hidden link to file a support ticket or give feedback?

There are too many software updates with Start11.  I have to elevate to my admin account to install the software update to this, each time.  It feels like there's an update each few days.  I'm about to purge this app because it's excessive updates.  I'm also about to writeoff Stardock because there's no customer service/ticket system.

I understand your frustration. Stardock Start11v2 requires updates in order to keep it compatible with the never ending Windows updates. If you stick to the Release versions and avoid Beta versions, you should not see that many updates, certainly not every few days.

Stardock has always provided software support in the Stardock Software forums. There are many advanced users who are willing to help, as well as, the Stardock support rep. If none of these provide a solution to your issue, it will be elevated to the Development team for review. I have found this method preferable to most other software support systems I have encountered over the years.

If you are currently having an issue, please let us know.

Hi engineer1,

Pelaird is spot on. The forums here are actively monitored by Stardock support staff, developers, and management. If you post an issue, it gets seen by the people who can actually do something about it.

We do also have a ticket system, which you can find by clicking "Support" on the top banner of our main page. This page details how and why we tailor our support system:  https://support.stardock.com/page/contact-support

For your information, Betas do not prompt for updates, but releases do. This page shows the frequency of the update notices you have seen (again, with the exception of Betas):  https://www.stardock.com/products/start11/history

If you're running into a specific issue, post it here and we'll get you sorted.

Updates to Start11 that should prompt you are uncommon, so unless you have installed it via ODM and have show betas enabled you shouldn't be getting regular update prompts at all.

I would check what version your Start11 shows in the UI as the latest release is 2.7, though there is a 2.71 in the pipeline ready for release soon.  It may be something is stopping the installation working hence requests for updates regularly.
