Fences Version Mismatch – Installer Shows 6.2.0.1 but Latest is 6.46

Hi, 

Why does the installer downloaded from the official website show the latest version as Fences 6.2.0.1, when the actual latest version is 6.46? Checking for updates from within the software also indicates that it is already up to date. How can I update to the latest version? Thank you.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I just tested this, I downloaded from https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. And Installed it and this is what I get when it is done installing.

 

Perhaps, you was not installing the latest downloaded installer. Please redownload the Fences installer again. Make sure to run the correct downloaded file. Check the version installed and report back.

Thanks for the video. But, I notice that your installer file came in a compress format? I don't see that when I download. I download it but its "Fences6_setup.exe" file. So I am not sure if your downloaded the correct file and decompress the correct file. Also, please check the "Fences6_setup.exe" files property. Refer to my screenshot below. Does it show the correct version?

Strangely, I cannot download the latest version; only version 6.2 is available. Are there any alternative ways to download it?

Maybe your computer is stopping the old file from being replaced. Try downloading it again, but save it in a different folder. If that doesn’t work, try another browser or use a download manager.

I’m sorry, but I don’t have permission to share the installer directly. Could you try downloading it on another computer, or perhaps using your phone instead?
