Deskscapes does not automatically add the new images from folder to my playlist even though option was selected.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I can't reproduce your issue on my system. How many image you have in your playlist and how do arrange the image in the playlist? Randomly? I tested this with 3 wallpapers and add few more while the playlist is on. And I see the added wallpapers appear after a while. Please do a simple test and see if the issue appear with smaller wallpaper.
