Dock and Undock

Reverts to Windows Start Menu

I use Start11 on my Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 9.  Sometimes, when I dock the laptop to my ThinkPad docking station, Windows 11 will revert to the Windows 11 start menu.  Has anybody else had this issue, and is there a solution?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Perhaps, Windows 11 explorer.exe need to restart to reset it back up. Try restarting Explorer.exe and see if the issue still appear. To do Explorer.exe restart. 

As a reference, you can restart explorer via task manager.

Yes, restarting Windows Explorer does fix the issue.  I should have stated that in my original post, since I had already tried it.  Something else I should have put in the original post: Windows Version 25H2 build 26200.7462.   I was hoping for a fix and not a workaround, but thanks for your response.

If you back up your settings, then Reset them (all on the 'Settings back' tab in the S11 UI), keep them that way, can you reproduce this?
