Crash Fences With windows 11 and One Drive

When using Fences in conjunction with OneDrive folders on Windows 11, the laptop freezes and even restarts due to an error.

I've already tried several things, including updating my graphics card drivers, but the only solution was to remove the fences.

I would really like to resolve this problem, as this application is very useful for my work.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your issue.

  1. Windows 11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Fences full version number.

Hello,

the windows version is 25H2 and OS Build number is 26200.7171.

I don't know the version of Fence, because I already uninstalled it. But I installed the latest version that was available on the website.

In the file properties, indicate the version number 6.0.2.6.

I don't know if it's important, but I have an RTX 5070 laptop GPU, with driver version number 32.0.15.8180 from 10/29/2025.

The issue/error appear when you trying to set a Folder portal Fences to a directory in OneDrive or the setup work, but when you tried to open anything in that folder, you get freezes? Would help if you can post a video on this so we understand it better.
