DX crashing whenever loading ANY object.

I've been using Desktop X for quite some time now, but I've never encountered a problem such as this one: I was browsing Wincustomize for some new objects, and when I loaded the neko cat, I think that was the culprit, but I'm not sure, it crashed DX. I then decided to restart the app and accept to have it start up with a blank theme. So far so good, but now, whenever I load ANY othe object, it crashes! I decided to uninstall it (via sdcentral, and chose to uninstall all files and themes) and reinstall it, but stil the same problem. Whenever I load up DX, it still "remembers" that it had crashed, and I still get a crash whenever loading any object . (dxaxhost.dll is said to be the source of the problem). What are the leftover files that don't get uninstalled?

I really need help please!

I uninstalled it and reinstalled and that type of problem disappeared.

Been there, done that... still doesn't work! The uninstall is obviously missing some files/seetings...

btw, is there a place for tech support for Stardock products?

Hmm I didn't actually uninstall by control panel as usual. I just killed all dlls, exes in desktopx folder and subfolders, because I wanted to keep the objects and themes.

Well, a new version of DX just pooped in, and I installed that one... it now works. I would still like to know what was causing the problem though.
