Thank you for such a quick response, basj! Installing v.4 did the trick and it starts fine now. What I need now is for it to have a search box where you can go to and apply cursors you have saved on your hard drive. I have a lot of them in the correct folder under Users, but can't see a way to get to them in the program. I don't remember how I added them before. 

That's the folder they are all in, and it has both .CursorFX and .CurXPTheme files. Just posted to the thread "Installed cursors not showing up in CursorFX" where pelaird said the last cursor file (alphabetically listed) in that folder wouldn't show up in the app list for him, and I had the same issue with this one I particularly wanted but couldn't make appear when double-clicking it after I reinstalled the program (which is why I proposed a search box within the app). Turned out there was a bizarre issue with it being the last file in that folder. Maybe we will hear over in that thread if anyone else has experienced this.
