thank you very much for your response and for your proactivity. This issue is something which is quite bothering me. Every time I want to select application I have to be fast enough until I see the text 
In Windows 11 there is also setting for this. But when I change it, nothing happens, thumbnails are still showing:

You can try disabling related visual effects, though this is less reliable on Windows 11:
- Open System Properties → Advanced → Performance Settings.
- In Visual Effects, uncheck:
- Save taskbar thumbnail previews
- Show thumbnails instead of icons
- Apply and restart
