Fences 6 fence creation does not give option to create new fence

I have installed Fences 6, replacing existing license for Fences 5.  After download, I am no longer able to create a new fence. I draw a rectangle, then get no prompt to create a new fence.  Please advise.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. First please check if you have not Locked your Fences. Perhaps, you have previously locked it and did not unlocked it before you upgrade to Fences 6. If "Lock Fences" does not appear under your right click menu, try this guide: https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1621360668/Show+%22Lock+Fences%22+in+Fences+5.

If that not it, try looking into this setting.
