Windows 11 updates reset start menu

Is there a fix for this?  Whenever Windows 11 decides to do an update, the Start menu reverts back to Windows 11 style.  I need to open Start 11, wait a moment, and then the Start menu returns to my desired style.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues. I’ve checked on my system (which has gone through many official Windows updates), but I haven’t encountered the same problem.

It’s possible that Start11 wasn’t installed correctly. Here’s what I recommend:

  1. Uninstall Start11 from your system.
  2. Reboot immediately — this step is important.
  3. Download the latest version from your Stardock account product page.
  4. Install Start11, then reboot again right after installation.
  5. Retest the issue and let us know how it goes.
