Upgrade from Fences 3 to Fences 6

Hi!

I'm using Fences 3 on Windows 10 and Windows 11 - it still worked fine, but I decided to upgrade to Fences 6 and purchased a license.

Can / should I just execute the installer for Fences 6 and install over Fences 3? Will my existing fences stay the same?

Or do you suggest to uninstall Fences 3, reboot, install Fences 6 and organize everything from scratch?

Hello,

Install over should work. Your last layout and saved backup layout should still be there and will be pick up by Fences 6. Just make sure to reboot the system after Fences 6 installation is done. Report back if you have issue after the installation.
