Files disappear
I love fences, but when I have autosave turned on, my files will disappear from the folder and I have to go search for them. This happens very often and is very frustrating.

I have several file shortcuts established with my fences that are both local and G:drive files. When I am working with an Excel or Word that are in those files with autosave on, they will loose the file name and get removed from the file. I have to go find them and save them back into the file. I love my fences and have used it for some time, but I can't keep having to stop and go get my files back. Please let me know what I need to do.
Thanks, I believe your files get deleted and save a new version while autosave save it into some other name which Fences don't recognize it as the same file you was working on, yes? In this case instead using your normal Fences, use Folder Portal Fence instead. Create a folder where you can save this file in there. Create a Portal Fence and link it to that folder. So every time you work on a file in that folder will always still be in that folder. Therefore, it should still be in that Folder Portal Fence always.

This is what I am doing, but I am still losing files. If I can't figure this out with satisfaction, I will have to use something other than fences. I love the product, but can't keep chasing my files down.
If you already using Folder Portal and your files still missing from there, these mean the files also missing from the actual Folder, hence that is not on Fences. It does not delete off Files in a folder. Not sure why you would think Fences is the issue here.
