Start 11 V 2.55 Not working properly

I am removing Stardock Start 11 V2.55 because there is a bug that causes the network folder to delay opening up (10-20 sec delay). How do I get previous version? There was no problem with that version.

Where can I get v2.53 of Start11?

When v2.55 was released, the older version no longer available for download. Try to look into your download directory to see if you have save the older version there.

Perhaps,  The V2.55 was not installed properly. Would like to suggest doing this steps: 

Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

When you say network folder, what do you mean exactly?

A flyout from the Start11 menu, a pinned group mapped to that, or in Windows Explorer itself?

Also your PC hasn't just updated to the 25H2 update of Win11 has it as if it is an explorer window being slow I wouldn't expect Start11 to have any interaction with that at all.

By network folder I mean this.

And no I have 24H2.

 

Prior to update to 2.55 everything worked properly.

I've asked Stardock in the past to change my email address on my account and it has not been changed. How do I change it?

How many times do I need to uninstall and re-install before Start11 works properly? It seems that Stardock is very confident that it's beta testing was thorough. Based on my past experience with Start11, the confidence needs to be toned down otherwise Stardock risks losing customers. And, what's with your web site? It's down and up and down....

Ok so I figured out the issue. It is a Start 11 v2.55 issue. If you select "Let Start11 enhance the taskbar", the issue with the network folder occurs. Since I've turned it off, Start11 is working fine as is the Network folder. Please fix. 

 

Also why is my avatar not showing up? It's in my account.

The products / downloads page of your Stardock account updates with the first activation of the software.  If you've activated, it's possible you entered a different email address.  You can use this service to try the email addresses you may have used:

This is probably a caching issue from your browser.  I can see your avatar just fine:

You can try refreshing the browser (with Ctrl+Shift+R), clearing the browser cached information, or check it with a different browser (or an InPrivate or Incognito session).

You can upload to a service of your choice and include the URL in your post.  However, regarding this and your remaining questions, I don't believe that will be necessary. 

 

I can reproduce some delay accessing Network from the desktop with Enhanced Taskbar turned on. 

I now have this logged to investigate further.

We have it reproduced on a machine but oddly another will not suggesting a timing factor involved somehow.

The exact cause is being looked onto and I would hope we can put a beta update out for this early next week assuming a simple workaround can be implemented.
