Start 11 Displaying Wrong Icons in Taskbar Bug

Start 11 is mixing up the application icons and captions in the task bar.  In this example, it has given Visual Studio Outlooks icon and caption.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe to get these numbers.
  2. Start11 version installed. 
  3. Start11 Taskbar enhance turn on or off?

Thats very strange as we shouldn't be doing anything with the taskbar when enhanced taskbar is disabled.  That should be all the OS.

Are you sure this isn't happening without Start11 too?

I can reproduce this and it does not happen if you immediately kill start 11 and return to windows taskbar it's immediately fixed.  (or if you restart explorer from start11 menu)

It's very intermittent, but happens more often when switching between multi-monitor setups (eg when moving from desk a to desk b to desk c with a laptop) without rebooting or forcing explorer restart.

Stopping S11 will restart explorer though so would instantly fix it.

I am thinking this might be a bug in Windows rather than us and would expect it to show up the same without Start11 but as you say it is intermittent which makes it harder to test this.

It's not windows ... if I uninstall Start 11, I never have the issue.
