Mouse-over Start11 Folder shortcut list to activate

Anyone else wondering why you can't mouse-over one of your shortcut folders along the right side of the start menu and have that folder open its subfolders when set for "Display as a menu".

I find it really counter-intuitive to have to click on a folder name to activate it to bring up its sub-menu of items.

If I'm missing something please tell me, otherwise I need to file this as a suggestion :)

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Perhaps you can post a video showing what you see so we understand the issue better.

Also, please add information below.

  1. You on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its version and OS Build number. Use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 full version numbers.
  3. Start11 style you are using?

Thank you,

Hi.  I'm just asking/commenting on the fact that mousing-over the folder names on the start menu (see graphic) doesn't open them -- it requires a mouse-click.  After that, nested folders do open just fine with mouse-over.
