Using Fences 6 on two computers

My laptop desktop mirrors my desk computer desktop.

I use my MS OneDrive desktop on both my computers, so my laptop mirrors my main computer. Can I set up Fences to be identical on both? (And do I need to purchase an installation for each computer?)
Thanks.

Moved to Fences area

Hello!
Yes, it should work—as long as both computers have the same files and folders on their desktops, stored in the exact same physical location, with matching drive names and paths. That’s important for Folder Portals in Fences to behave consistently.
Just a quick reminder: Fences is a desktop organizer, not a sync tool. It doesn’t copy or move files between systems. So if you're setting this up across multiple PCs, you'll need to use a separate sync application to keep the files and folder structure identical—and ideally, sync the layout too.

You can use this guide to save and copy over saved layout. https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1331331082/Backup+and+Restore+the+Layout+of+Fences

@michaelm24393, question about your interest in sync. Per basj Fences can't sync files, but are you using OneDrive or Dropbox to sync your desktop? If so a few questions:

* Are the contents of the desktop exact between the two machines? Or are there files in the public desktop folder (%public%\Desktop) that differ between the two, etc?
* Are the monitor configurations identical between the machines?
* If the monitor config is not exact between the two, what would your expectations be about what synced between the two computers.

Thanks for your help
