I am  a new user, having multiple problems with the Fences software, in particular with trying to restore a saved layout to an earlier date or layout. I'm able to view the desired saved layout but  when I click on the on the button to restore the layout, I do not get that layout but may in fact lose one or more icons. I also cannot get back to my original icons (about 30 or so before I started trying to use Fences) without being able to get back to the earliest saved layout. Thank you. Bob Elliott

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. What changed since that desired layout? Windows update? Desktop Onedrive Sync turn on? New software installed? If you create a new save layout, does it get restore correctly? Also need to know your current Windows 10/11 version and OS Build number. Use Winver.exe to get these numbers.

Details on what get icons get lost? Does it still appear on the desktop instead inside a Fence? If you turn off Fences does these lost icons appear on your desktop?
