Fences on top with mouse rollover

Fence rollup is a nice feature.  However, in v.6 rolled up fences do not stay on top of open apps when rolling over the fence title bar with the mouse.  This makes the "rollup" feature essentially useless.  It defeats the entire purpose of Fences -- to save monitor space.  Unless this feature is added (very soon) there is no value in it for me.

Hi there,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues. Just to clarify—Fences is designed to manage and organize desktop icons, so it operates strictly at the desktop level and doesn’t stay on top of other windows by default.

However, Fences does offer a temporary way to bring your desktop into view using its special "Peek" hotkey function.

If you're looking for something that remains visible above open windows at all times, you might want to try Stardock's ObjectDock. Do note, though, that ObjectDock has its own limitations and doesn’t offer some of the features unique to Fences.

Thank you,

I would like to know what a "hot key" can do, and also where to find it, and how to use it.  There seems to be no user manual for Fences.

Look for it here: The settings are pretty much self explanatory.
