connection to secondary pc

Hi, I'm having problems connecting my two PCs. They're both set to a private network, as required by the program. Please help. I only have a few days left to test.

Thanks.

Hi MikymeoTwitch2155,

If you're seeing that connection failed message, you'll want to first make sure your Encryption Key is the same on both computers (Security tab -> Change encryption key). You can also double check your computer name and IP address are correct.

If the above things are correct, a common issue would stem from firewall port settings.  The link below documents how you can test if that's the case and then resolve with an included batch file.

Please let us know if this helps and if you have any other questions.

Sorry to read that but can you give us a bit more information?

Is the Secondary Seamless PC on the same subnet \ network?

Can you ping it?

They're both connected to the same switch where the gigabit comes in.

Unfortunately, I can't tell you now because I'm working, but if any of you are available in 2 and a half hours, I can also connect you to my computers

no ping, they don't communicate even if they can be seen on the network

If a ping fails, Multiplicity will not work either.  Multiplicity needs IP connectivity between PCs to function.
