Start 11 2.55.0 still having secondary display taskbar issues that started in 2.53

I had previously posted this in the 2.53 feedback thread when this issue started, and so I did try version 2.55 when it was advertised today seeking a resolution.

However, I am still seeing the same glitching of the taskbar on secondary monitors. You can see here the start button is completely gone on inactive screen, pinned items and clocks partially or not visible at all, etc. (Has nothing to do with start button visibility settings, start button is always on all displays).

Yes, this is the same screenshot I took when this started with 2.53, I didn't see a need to create a new one for 2.55 since it does the exact same thing.  Downgrading to 2.51 resolves the issue.

Where did you find Start11v2.55?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just as a quick test, if you turn off those two top displays. And restart Explorer.exe. Does the issue still appear on the secondary monitor that still on? If no, turn on one of the top one. Restart explorer again. And see the issue appear. If still no, turn on the last one. Restart explorer. Does the issue appear?

Also, if you have not try it, please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), re-download latest version available to you. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Thank you,

Can you add more details to that? Where you had seen it?

Thanks for the response.  If I turn off all secondary displays, there is no issue. If I turn off just the top two displays, and reboot that way, with just primary and single secondary, I still have the issue on the secondary display. If I move the main taskbar (primary display) to any other display, the issue on secondary displays follows the 'new' secondary displays. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as this is how I tested with the beta version but, I'm currently still running 2.51 and not having any issues.

Please elaborate this, how do you "Move" a taskbar in Windows 11?

I just mean moving the primary taskbar, the one that contains the system tray, to other displays. More precisely described as changing the primary display in Windows settings.

And thus, the problem remains the same regardless of which display is the primary display in that the taskbar on the primary display is rendered correctly and the taskbars on secondary displays are not displayed properly, as is shown in my screenshot.

Strange thing is, your initial post was on July 25th. Yet the Start11 v2.55 Beta release thread was upped on July 29th. So, really wonder where you actually get the Beta release before the link get announced.

Anyway,

I can't reproduce this issue on my system. However, I have forwarded your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience. Thank you.

I understand that about the release date but, I thought 2.55 was available on the day of my original post, but the thread it was released in does not indicate because posts have been updated so the dates have changed but, regardless of the timing, it is still the case that I have this issue with both the 2.53 release and 2.55 beta release.  Thanks for sharing the issue with the support team.
