Wincustomize "Edit Account" problem

NO, I've already tried the obvious. It's a definite issue with the site.

I can't speak to the Firefox issue, but as you stated that it happens to you in IE as well, I checked for myself, and my preferences for Popup windows did not revert to Yes after restarting or after relogging in. I tried several times and had no problem with my preferences being kept. So perhaps the issue is not with the site.

The cookie is *definitely* being rewritten when reopening the browser (but oddly not when closing the site and then revisiting without closing the browser).

The cookie when popups are sent to 'yes' is this:

and then immediately after closing the browser and then reopening it and going to the wincustomize site it's set to this again:

and that is totally without making any changes. There's nothing on my PC that could be rewriting that cookie. I'm almost 100% confident that it's a site issue.

(All this investigation has been done with FireFox, but given similar behaviour in IE I'll be surprised if the situation is any different there)

As would I, if they worked properly at the moment! Unfortunately, be it due to some error in the FireFox build or one of
the FireFox extensions that I'm running, they don't. When the popups appear the tab launching the popup *also* opens
the popup link, giving two identical tabs. This is more than a touch annoying, and so as a workaround I want to disable
the popup setting, but I can't.
