Hello, Stardock,

I am currently using Fences 4.0.
One major issue with this version is that whenever I change something—such as renaming a folder—the display style of all subfolders resets to the default. As a result, I have to repeatedly change the display style back to my preferred settings, which wastes a lot of time.

Regarding Fences 6:

  • Does the display style of a parent folder automatically apply to its subfolders?
  • Is it possible to change the display style for all folders at once?
  • If I try the free trial and it doesn’t meet my expectations, can I revert back to Fences 4, including restoring my previous layout?

Please do the 30 days trial and see if it work as you wish. And yes, if you have done the trial and wish to revert back to Fences 4, you can uninstall Fences 6, reboot the system, download Fences 4 from your account download page. Install it, reboot again after that. You should be back with Fences 4 after reboot.
