Known issues

While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.

Issue ODNT-9092 (reported in Beta 2 thread on October 30th of 2024) still exists (cursor snapping to upper left or lower left corner when transitioning between two stacked monitors).

All 3 PCs have 4.05 installed and were rebooted.

To review...

...an odd glitch when transitioning between two PCs in the Advanced resolution aware grid Seamless mode:

- When moving the mouse from "WIN-4BI SSQE1DI..." DOWN to "DESKTOP-Q5...", the mouse snaps to the upper left corner of "DESKTOP-Q5..." instead of being at the correct horizontal location along the top edge of "DESKTOP-Q5...".

- When moving the mouse from "DESKTOP-Q5..." UP to "WIN-4BI SSQE1DI...", the mouse snaps to the lower left corner of "WIN-4BI SSQE1DI..." instead of being at the correct horizontal location along the bottom edge of "WIN-4BI SSQE1DI...".

All mouse transitions to and from those two PCs and the primary monitors on the right are perfect.

Can you try disabling the option in windows display properties to make mouse pointer transitions between monitors easier on both computers?

This setting means the mouse position is adjusted by Windows on hitting a screen border and can cause problems in complex setups where monitors do not align exactly.

No joy. I set it in the menu on the right computer. The two on the left did not have the menu setting (single monitor computers), so I installed a .reg file which disabled the setting on those two (who knows if it is being used of course). Rebooted all computers. Problem still occurs.

Changing the setting "Allow connections to this computer when the display is off in Modern Standby with an External Display" does not seem to save. Also has a theme issue.

I do have the issue that is this laptop does not come out of screen sleep I have to touch the keyboard and hope this option would fix. Multiplicity 3 worked fine.

This has been addressed in an internal build.  Thank you for the report.
