Fence 4 Yearly Subscription

Hello

I apologize for the newbie question here. I just recently renewed my subscription automatically on all my workstations and seemed to be all working fine. My question is, all my workstations are in an enclosed network and no internet access. How does the Fence software know or determine that my subscription is valid and good to go for the next year if the WS have no access online? My very first Fence software expired because I didn't sign up to have it automatically set to subscribe and I had to purchase another one and got a new software license key.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe its on time/date base. If you have reach the sub end date it will consider your subs is expired. Unless you renew your subs and reactivate using the offline activation steps.

I did not reactivate using offline or anything though.  I bought a subs last year Jul 2, 2024 with a auto subs. It renewed yesterday without reactivating or anything even though all my PC has no internet access? How is that possible?

now it is asking for a product key. I wonder if I just re-enter the original product key for this? Do I need to be online for this to work?

If you use online activation you need to be online. But, if you use offline activation, you don't need to be online, but you still need an online system to get the activation done. I end up, using my hotspot and re entering product key from last year and it reactivated.  Now I know what to do for next year renewal.
