Are the items in Fences pointers to the real files or copies?

When I tried to delete a folder in a fence, it seemed to suggest that the original folder would be deleted. What I'm trying to establish is whether Fences copies a folder into a fence, thereby creating a second copy of the folder.

No, if you was referring to Portal Fences, Portal Fences is just like a portal or link to your actual Folder. If you delete in your Portal Fences it will actually delete off those files and directory from your system.

I bought and installed Fences. I don't recall seeing mention of "Portal" Fences.
