Start11 v2.53 mouse not able to click

Hi,

I have Start11 2.53 installed on 3 Windows 11 24H2 Enterprise computers and I often have problems with the mouse. It was happening with 2.51 also.

It's unable to right click or left click on some part of the screen or I can select some icons and not others.

I need to restart explorer to make it work again.

I cannot reproduce the problem at will so I'll make a video tomorrow when it's happening to try to demonstrate my problem.

Thanks

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. First, to make sure Start11 was properly install. Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Thank you,

Sorry for the late answer,
It's not only on the menu area.
I haven't been able to make that video but as soon as I have time, I'll do it.
I've tried uninstalling once before but I'll try again and let you know.
Thanks

Hello,

came here to say that I have the exact same problem.
Reinstall does not help.

The problem can be temporarily bypassed by pressing WIN and then closing the menu again with LEFT MOUSE CLICK on the Windows icon (at least for me). Has been like this since 2.5.X for me.
I am not quite sure on how to reproduce it 100% but it I think it may be caused by ALT + TABbing a lot between active applications .

Hope you find a permanent fix soon. This is really annoying since it overlays every other content displayed.

Hi,

I have to apologize because I haven't been able to create the video I've proposed to do.
I confirm the problem is with a specific area that's on the left side of the screen where my Start menu is.
The area touched by the problem is approximately the one covered by the menu.
Moving the affected window on the right allows the click to operate again.

I don't know how to reproduce this at will.
Closing the session and reopening it resolves the problem for me.
I'll try Mopped3661 tip to check if it helps.

It's been a long time, sorry.
I've just disabled the second option (the first one is disabled by default)
