[Bug] Windows won't resize my Windows to the bottom of multiple monitors, only to top of Hidden taskbar

Hello,

I am getting a bug where Windows will no longer perform a Full Screen action to the bottom of my Monitor.
If my taskbar is set to 1 row, it will not fill the 1 row. If it is set to 2 or 3 rows, all my windows are shrunk at full screen so they no longer can go past the taskbar, even when hidden.
Here's a pic: Showing full screen with taskbar, and when I click full screen after the taskbar hides, it stays the same size.

Thank for any help.

If I remove the "1 pixel" setting for compatibility, I can resize my windows to the full screen, but then my taskbar won't appear when I mouse to the bottom of the screen.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows 11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11v2 full version number.
  3. Start11 taskbar location top, bottom, left or right?
  4. Start11 Taskbar Enhance turn on or off?
  5. Start11 taskbar button combine mode?
  6. Details on your multi monitors setup
  7. Post a video showing us the issue so we understand it better.

Thank you for the response.

Start11 V2.51

Taskbar is Bottom for all 3 monitors.

Taskbar Enhanced is ON, Button Combine ON for all.

3 Monitors.

Taskbar Not working (won't unhide) when in full screen (ie mouse won't unhide it).

What email should I send the video to, since there is apparently no way to attach a mp4 here and I am not using YT.
Here's a pic with Window Made to full Size, now Taskbar will not show when Mouse Over bottom of monitor:

So in the above image, I am full screen, and mouse is at the bottom. I poked it up a bit just so you can see it. But when I pull it down to the bottom, it should pull up the Task Bar (Unhide it)... but it does not.

Thank you,

Please try, uninstall Start11v2, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page (v2.52 Beta): https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Thank you. I purchased the 5 pack, and it took a few tries to find the "Primary Account"... I didn't realize, that Macktek was not the Primary...
But, yes... The Beta works!

Thank you... Great support.

Update: The update did fix for many applications, but certain ones it still seems to happen. I didn't notice it because I usually keep my Word Processor docs on 1 monitor, and that seemed to work fine.

For example: The Taskbar works fine with a Full Screen LibreOffice, Notepad++, and Visual Studio.

But, when using Steam, Epic Games Launcher, Discord, Opera Browser, Edge or Firefox, Epic Games Launcher, it won't pull up the taskbar.

There must be something different about these programs where some work and some don't.

Thank you for any assistance.

So, to confirm, your issue only happen on secondary monitor with these mentioned specific applications? No issue with these application if there on the primary monitor?

It is doing that on Primary and Secondary Monitors for all of those applications that I listed as Problematic, except Firefox seems ok on the Primary Monitor.

By full screen do you mean maximized or using full screen options in the apps like f11 in edge to remove the title at too?

I ask as in true full screen apps you will not get an auto hide taskbar to appear when you mouse down to the bottom of the screen.  This is normal as otherwise full screen games would constantly have problems with it.

If just normal maximized then you should ensure you have the option to reserve one pixel of space at the bottom of the screen is enabled.

I turned on the the option to: "Reserve one pixel of space at the bottom of the screen" and that fixed it!

Thank you.
