Fences 5 keeps asking to install several times a day

Several times a day Fences 5 asks to install, even though the program is currently installed and activated.  Only started once I upgraded to 5

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. What is your currently installed version? Need its full installed version. The latest stable release is v5.86 and v5.88 (Beta). If you currently already with one of these version, please see if you have something like IOBit software updater installed in your system. Try disable Fences from its check list.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Fences 5 full version number installed.
  3. The popup asking to install an update? Please post a screen shot of the popup message.
  4. This is Direct Stardock purchase or Steam purchase?
  5. Also, check if you have IOBit software updater or any application that similar in function.

Hi Basj,

1. Windows 11

2. Fences Version 5.86

3. I do not have copy of the popup right now. I'll get it the next time I see it.

4. This is a Direct Stardock Purchase - I renew Objectdock every year and use the individual downloads to get the apps I like to use

5. I use IOBIT extensively including Advanced System Care, Uninstaller, Updater, Driver Booster

If you have IOBit software updater please try to set it to ignore Fences.
