Start11 Restored Windows Explorer(s) not shown

Dear support team,

 

I'm using Start11 v2.4.9.2 beta, have the start menu at the right hand side, and window titles displayed. My Windows settings are "restore explorer windows at next login". I see now that Windows 11 opens the explorers (usually 1-3) but the start menu looks like no explorer is opened.

--> When I open one more explorer via Start11, just this one is shown in the menu.

--> When I cycle through the open windows with "ALT-Tab", the explorers are added to Start11

--> Or, when I close all the explorers and open new, it is correctly displayed.

(This may apply to other applications, too.)

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information please.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Post video capture so we understand your issue better.

I'll provide three screen shots: One with explorer and sticky notes that do not occur in the task list, one with an "ALT-TAB" list of windows. Note the faulty WiFi icon, too: It's upside down (no idea why).

And a third image which shows everything all-right in another session.

Just  to confirm something, if you set the taskbar to bottom, does the issue goes away?

I did not check that. In the released versions of Start11, the bug is solved.
