Start11 Feature Request - Ignored duplicate content

Not sure why showing EXE and Shortcuts for each application

from Stardock Forums

Why does my Start11 v2.11 also show the EXE files for search queries? e.g. -

 

Unexpected Examples:

  • "Firefox" - firefox.exe
  • "Chrome" - chrome.exe
  • "Outlook" - OUTLOOK.exe
  • "Excel" - excel.exe

 

This feels like an incomplete detail; for example once you complete the search query the second listing then quietly drops the '.exe' extension.

 

Can we have Start11 not show these applications twice for its search responses? Or perhaps provide an 'ignore this search response' option from the context menu for user's to manually clean up?
