I see many postings on Wake On Lan issues from the past. It seems like the main issue is your attempt to automatically identify the MAC address. Why can't you just allow us to enter the MAC address instead of trying to discover it. All my WOL utilities work like this, and they all work correctly. Multiplicity is not discovering the correct MAC and it does not work. I don't want to mess with NIC binding order a others have attempted. Can you please provide the ability to manually enter and save the MAC address for WOL?

BTW... It seems to be pulling the MAC address for my default gateway instead of the target machine. Is there no simple way to force multiplicity to use a specific MAC address instead of autodiscovering(Incorrectly). These two machines are on the same subnet and there is not routing going on here. If I ping from the source host to the destination and review the arp cache, the MAC address is correct for the target in the cache. I don't know how why you're acquiring the default gateway MAC address. This is not correct.
I think you could override the Mac address in the registry. The UI just saves it to the registry. Off hand I don't recall the exact registry address but will post it tomorrow.
As for why it is getting the wrong one, that's an interesting question and we will do some investigations.
I found registry settings for Multiplicity in a couple of places, but didn't see anything that looked like the MAC address.
I found the registry entry and when I change it to the correct MAC address, it look like it's working. If I edit the KVM entry, it's still showing the DEFAULT gateway MAC. I'm guessing your a doing your discovery when you edit the settings. I'm sure if I re-saved the entry, it would enter the wrong value back into the registry.
