Fences 3 is not activating on a new computer

I bought a new computer and would like to put Fences 3 on it, but my computer does not recognize that it is loaded.  It keeps telling me that my computer must be restarted to finish the upload.

Any ideas?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your issue.

  1. New computer Windows 11 full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Fences version you're trying to install.
  3. What do you mean by "Computer must be restarted to finish the upload"? Please post a screenshot of the popup message.

The "Welcome to Fences" seems to indicate that it is partially installed.  Nothing changes with restarting.

I wonder if it is the Snapdragon processor.

Thoughts?

That will be the issue. Fences v3 is not supported on ARM/Snapdragon CPU. You will need to have Fences v5 (Insider edition) to use Fences on ARM/Snapdragon base CPU.

Note: Fences 5 Insider edition currently only available for Stardock Object Desktop subscribers.

I would rather buy a license, as opposed to a subscription.  Will Fences 5 (able to run on Snapdragon) be available for purchase soon?

There is no official announcement for ARM base Fences 5 support outside Object Desktop Subs yet.
