Fences, Curtains and ObjectDesktop Crash

after a BSoD i reinstalled Windows 10 and then I re-installed all my apps. I eventually got round to Curtains and everything seemed OK (up to last night) This afternoon I noticed my Fences had disappeared , I clicked on the menu entry and received a message that Fences could not be found. I checked the installed app list and Fences is not indicated as installed. I checked the Installed directory and the executable had 'gone'. I tried reinstalling Fences, but it failed at around 75% of the installation. I get a Red Warning pop-up saying Fences - problem Code 3000.  I cannot delete the files in the Fences directory as I get told one of them is running, but I don't know which. Nothing is indicated in the 'running' list. Following the discovery I found that ObjectDesktop will not install and Curtains will not run. Any suggestions anyone. (everything still seems OK on my laptop.)
