How do i prevent new files saved on my desktop from hiding behind the fences?

I am using v3 of Fences and in the previous version when i saved a file to my desktop it would land and avoid hiding behind a fence at the top of my monitor.  Now it hides.  any help would be appreciated.  TIA!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. For Fences v3, you can create a Temporary fence and set so all new icons be send to that new fence. hence, Icons will not be under Fence. Refer to screenshot below. Its from Fences v4, but, I do believe Fences v3 has similar layout and feature.

Hi noahkruger, yes there are a couple options. One is the method above, and it's the recommended one if you'd like to continue to use Fences 3. It'll ensure icons don't get placed behind a Fence in Win11 24H2.

If the above method isn't suitable, unfortunately Fences 3 is out of support, so you'll need to upgrade to v5 (trial is available so you can be sure it fixes it for you), which has compatibility updates with Win11 24H2 that prevent this from happening.
