DesktopGPT can you make it resizable?

i use one of my computers as a tablet. DesktopGPT and Start11 configuration don't fit the width and are not resizable. Why are they not resizable? I'm uninstalling desktopgpt because it is completely unusable like this, and the config window for start11 is truly frustrating. Any chance this will ever change?

thanks!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. May we know what is your tablet screen resolution and Windows scale factors?

Thank you.

hi -

screen is 1920X1200, so the width as a tablet is 1200pixels.

i have the scale factor at 125% now, but 150% is more comfortable

thanks!

I tested on my system with 1920x1200pixel and 150% scale and it look it fits quite okay to me. Refer to my short video below. Note: That sizes was can be adjust quite easily. In the video that was the minimum size possible for both DesktopGPT and Start11 configuration Windows. Please post a video or a screenshot of your tablet and show us the size of the configuration windows for both product.

Thank you,

  • apologies - miscommunication. i guess i should have said 'portrait orientation' [not 'tablet'] so as mentioned the width is 1200 pixels.. As you can see below the window is too wide. i can resize the height but not the width [which is really odd], and the full-screen expand box/icon top right on the title bar is greyed out. Similar problem with DesktopGPT, but it was so bad i just uninstalled..

thanks again

Unfortunately Start11 requires a resolution that is 1200 pixels wide to use the config screen.  1200 pixels wide at 125% scaling is only the same as 960 pixels and at 150% it would be 800 pixels.

I appreciate this is annoying, but as I am sure you can imagine such low resolution portrait modes are extremely uncommon usage especially as a primary display.  If you used a tablet I would say just rotate it to use the config screen but I understand you are on a desktop PC so that wouldn't be as easy.

If you use 100% scaling you should be ok though or you can move the window left and right as you need via the titlebar.  Not ideal I know :(
