Folders and Folder menus not pinning to Taskbar

Running Windows version 23H2 OS Build 22631 4317

Start11 Version 2.11

When I attempt to pin a folder or folder menu to the taskbar nothing happens bar the dialogue box checking to see if I really want to pin to the taskbar. I can pin a single file though.

Any help / guidance welcome.

Thank you.

The folder you are trying to pin is a OneDrive "On Demand" item. Try downloading it to your computer and then see if you can pin it to the taskbar.

Hi Thanks for the reply. It's strange. It worked on my last PC, and even if I go through C: Users\ etc which is the local file, it still won't pin. But thank for taking the time - I appreciate it.

The local folder in your video is just a “place holder” for the folder which is in the cloud. It’s really not on your computer. As I said, download that folder and its contents from the cloud to your computer and then try to pin it to the taskbar.

I am able to pin any folder to the taskbar, but all my files are on my computer and only synced to OneDrive. If you are unable to pin folders that you know reside on your computer, then something is definitely wrong.
