Fences 3 layout snapshot are blank

Snapshot are blank, no picture

I wish I could get my fences 3 fixed.  there are blank (No Pictures) to select which screen shot you want.

they screen shot is there with the dates and they work but no pictures, also in the app data they are blank also.

help soneone.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. You on Windows 7,8,10 or 11? Also need it full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. Fences v3 full version number.
  3. Is this a new issue and it was working before? If it was, what changed? New Windows update? New Driver? etc.

 Yes, it worked fine for years.  I activated windows OneDrive because I purchased 365 basic.  OneDrive pasted all backup icon which some where blank and with globe icon. and because I couldn't get rid of them I tried restore points and they where sill there.  there was a ton of them.  I didn't know what to do so.  I reinstalled windows. got everything up and running took 3 days to fix all the icons back to my fences.  and it is the only thing broke that wont show the pictures of the screen shots.  they work and are there with dates, but no picture.  In the user/appdata where they are stored they are blank also.  I deleted OneDrive.  because this happened once before, years ago.

  I have Windows 11 24h2.  i9-7900K, 64gb  RTX 4080 Super,  4 ssd, 2tb-4tb, 6tb hdd for my movies with a partition for system image.. and everything works great.  all games and everything.  it's ok that I can't see the pictures but it would be nice if i could see them.  can you help?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Sorry, but I don't think Fences v3 fully compatible on Windows 11. Fences v3 was introduce way before Windows 11 time and lots have changed since it first introduced. I am surprise it was working for you on Windows 11 all this while. Moving forward it is best to move on to Fences v5. You could do a 30 days free trial on Fences 5 and see it work for you.

Interestingly, the "configure fences" option also disappeared from the right-click view menu at the same time.  I could not find a "repair" option so I tried reinstalling fences 4 but it had no effect.  Snapshots look like this:
