Start 11

Installed programs not showing up

Newly installed programs are not showing up in many of the Start Menus except for Windows 7 and Modern styles. Just installed Nord VPN and the only start menu styles that have the folder appearing are Windows 7 Modern. See attached image of ProgramData folder.

Just logged off and back on an Nordsec folder and NOrd VPN shortcuts appear in the menu. This issue needs to be addressed. When is the next version going to be available? Apparently, you are not compatible with Windows 11 24H2.

Are you running 2.1.1.0? it should be compatible.

Running 2.11. Don't know about version 2.1.1.0. If you mean 2.11, then there are issues. More than happy to send you a video. Let me know how.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I saw it get listed on my system. Refer screenshot below. It appear as soon as I restart the system, since it needed to be done after NordVPN installation. For reference I am on Windows 11 v 24H2 (OS Build 26100.2033) and Start11v2.11

Need more information on your system.

  1. Windows 11 v 24H2 full build number.
  2. Did you reboot right after the installation as instructed by NordVPN?

Please try this, uninstall Start11v2 reboot immediately after uninstall is done, redownload latest version from your account. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest by installing something new and see if the issue still appear.
