How are people using the "select the far corner of the taskbar to show the desktop" feature?

I am used to moving my mouse all the way to the right of the screen and clicking to use this feature but with Start11 there is a small gap between the far right of the screen and the edge of the taskbar. I do have the reserve one pixel at the end feature off.

Thanks

I don't keep loose icons on my desktop, so I don't really use this feature, but you can press Win+D on your keyboard, or right click the Start button and select Desktop. Make sure you have the following setting turned on for this to work.

I don't either but after browsing the web or using notepad, etc., I like a quick way to minimize everything so I can look at my wallpaper.  I really liked how I could do this without switching from mouse to keyboard.  I know that I can do this also by right-clicking on the taskbar and selecting 'show desktop' but is there no way to close the gap so I can continue to do things the way I have gotten used to?

Thanks

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Do know that you can adjust how far the taskbar rounded edge from your screen edge. If you wish to use the absolute edge that you should change the Rounded corner to "X offset: None". Refer screenshot below. For me X offset : Medium work.

Thank you.

Yes, I did see that, but I liked the rounded corners ;) I was hoping to keep slightly rounded corners but stretch the taskbar further. Since I could not, I will turn them off.

Thanks

EDIT: I switched to "X offset: None" but since you suggested "X offset: Medium" I tried it, and it did work. Now I have pretty rounded edges and the click to desktop still works on the edge.

Thanks again!
