If you are more specific about which Cusors/Author someone here may be able to help. Some authors chose to take their skins off the site for one reason or another but in most cases have their own website where the skin are still available for download.

Are the cursors links broken, or are they just not here any longer? We had some server troubles in December, and some things may need reuploading. If the themes simply aren't here any longer, they've probably been removed by the author(s). You might try looking for them at some of the other skin sites. Skinbase.org for example.....

Thanx for your suggestions, I have tried other sites but Wincustomize has by far the best selection. Of course I can't remember the name of the one I want the most, but it's a rounded 3D arrow with 6 or so colors watermelon, grape, smoke, lime and a few others. I think it was made to match a skin. Also firefly by Renzo Riccio. Cursors are my thing and I get quite attached, wierd huh

Nah, not weird at all. People get attached to hobbies and things. It's those without any attachments that are weird.

I believe that maybe Wincustomize shoud make other options available if a skinner gets urked and wants to take all their skins. I noticed that Phooey's Guitar cursors are gone too. He had some nice cursors. Maybe a preview could be retained, and a link where the cursor can be found. Therefore, if the author wants people visiting his site, and gets urked at WC, then he could still use WC as advertisement for his work and WC would gain the visitors to begin with. If one removes their work though, they lose all download counts anyway. They could lose comments too as it might be difficult to control information on someone elses site.

I think a statement about not being responsible for what is on someone elses site might be prudent.

Another idea is to change the rules for posters to the site. If one gets angry and wants to leave and hurt the site, maybe they shouldn't be allowed to do so. They don't lose their IP right so to say, but they lose the right to take material off the site.

We may also want to seriously address the Decorum of the site and the way it handles its members and visitors. This maybe a difficult task, since there are all types of people coming here. Just ideas.
