How install Multiplicity 4 Pro

I have purchased Multiplicity 4 Pro, installed it in the appropriate folder many times but I cannot see how to run it. I have the Object Desktop but Multiplicity 4 Pro is not shown in the my Object Desktop apps - although Multiplicity 4 is. I have registered the product and have the licence code. Where do I enter it? Should Pro be in my Object Desktop list?

Also, I seem to have downloaded two different installation files:

Multiplicity4-fs-setup_sd.exe

Multiplicity4_Setup_sd.exe

Which is correct?

Thanks.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If you have purchased Multiplicity 4 Pro stand alone, you should receive Multiplicity 4 Pro key. This key will be different than your Object Desktop key, which could only activate Multiplicity 4, but not for Multiplicity 4 Pro. This is why Multiplicity 4 Pro do not appear under Object Desktop list.

Thank you.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have a new Multiplicity4 Pro key and have installed MP4 Pro several times, but I cannot see where to run MP4 Pro or where to enter the new key I have just bought. I have used Multiplicity for many years but, because of this 'upgrade' ( as much as Object desktop's sub cost!) I cannot connect to my other laptops any more. Not great!

Did you also installed Multiplicity 4 on your laptop? I believe you will need both the primary and the secondary need on the same version.

Thank you,

Yes, but I cannot see how to start MP4 Pro on my Desktop or/and how or where to enter the new code.

While Multiplicity 4 (MP4) documentation is still being produced, the current and extensive Multiplicity 3 (MP3) information should help you here.

What will help you out of the gate is knowing what MP actually does and if you have a need for it.

Thanks. Yes I need it - MP that is. Anyway, I uninstalled M4 from the Object Desktop and then installed MP again. This time, it installed ok and the new key was already there ready to be activated. So everything works again with MP now. Thanks.

You are most welcome.

I am also going to change your username a bit as you don't want your email address public like that ;)

You can edit it yourself here if you like:
